Not catching. Everyone expects to catch fish when they are paying a guide, we understand that. This isn't always the case, as we can't control all the factors and must play the hand we are dealt. With that said, we have still been managing to find some fish every outing. As much as I would love to see every client in the boat go home with a dime bright, fresh King, that hasn't been the case. It's not for lack of trying either. But, it is still early in the run, and there are (hopefully) lots of fish still to come in. This was sent to me by email from some recent clients. It is always a pleasure to see happy clients, even if they didn't get to battle a king.
My wife and I took a fishing trip with Chris on the Deshka river. We had beautiful weather and the landscape was amazingly wild, we saw lots of Eagles. Our guide, Chris, did not spare any opportunity to track down the illusive King Salmon. Even though neither my wife or I caught a fish , one big King was reeled into the boat by one of the other trip members. It was an awesome experience. We can highly recommend Roe Hard Guide Service. It was a pleasure having both of them in the boat along with Lyle and Rob. Rob was on his first ever fishing excursion, and he sure caught a nice fish for his first ever. It seems like there has been a lot of firsts for people on the last few trips. Dana got her first ever King. Don also caught his first ever King on a trip last weekend. Things are shaping up to be pretty darn good. As of this moment, bait is set to open up on 01 June. Will this make a huge difference? Well, it sure doesn't hurt. See you on the water.
